Donald “Donnie” Walter Mauldin

Donald “Donnie” Walter Mauldin, 72, of Fountain Inn, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Marvin and Ozelle Adams Mauldin.

Donnie’s vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. He was always full of life and joy, spreading warmth and laughter wherever he went. His endearing habit of collecting teddy bears reflected his gentle and caring nature.

A man of deep faith, Donnie was known for his comforting words, often saying, “I’ll pray for you, you pray for me.” His kindness and compassion were felt by many, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to cross his path.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the Thrive facility for their unwavering care and love during Donnie’s time with them. Your dedication provided comfort and support to both Donnie and his loved ones.

Donald was a wonderful man, truly loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His absence leaves a void that will be felt beyond compare.

He is survived by his loving girlfriend, Tonya.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt who was very dear to his heart, Frances Aiken.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at New Life Foundation Church, 908 Cedar Lane Rd, Greenville, SC 29617. Burial will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
