Donald Wilbur Stokes, 56, of 1 Camelback Road, died on Monday, June 19, 2006. Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Doris Louise Lynch Stokes. Mr. Stokes served in the U.S. Army and was employed with the Washington Street Branch of the U.S. Post Office. Surviving are a daughter, Shelley Alexander and husband Jon, of Easley; and two grandsons, John Henry Alexander and Josh Alexander, both of the home.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 ? 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the home of the daughter, 113 Biltmore Circle, Easley, SC. No services are planned. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society of Greenville County, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605. Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
