Dorothy “Virginia” Cole

Dorothy Virginia Huffling Cole, 80, formally of 307 Beatrice Street, died Monday, October 8, 2007 at Laurel Baye Health Care. She was a daughter of the late Sherman Worley and Dora Clark Huffling. Ms. Cole was a homemaker and member of Oak Crest Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Randy Cole and his wife, Clancy, of Easley; two granddaughters, Carmen and Eliza Cole, both of Greenville; sister, Ruby Childers of Greenville; and brother, Marvin Huffling of Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by siblings Wynona Lyons, Florence Hall, Lois Smith and Runnette Girard. The funeral service will be Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. ? 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery West. The family will be at the home of the son, 105 Woodhill Drive, Easley, SC.
