Dorothy Z. Nellis

Dorothy Z. Nellis, 86, widow of Alexander Nellis, died Wednesday, September 07, 2005 at Greenville Nursing Center. Born in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Florena Fiscus Zollars. Mrs. Nellis was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Hoskins and her husband Troy; five grandchildren, Robert, Ken, Chuck and Rick Hoskins, and Natalie Edwards; five great grandchildren, Somer, Abby, Noah, and Bobby Hoskins, and Ava Edwards; and two sisters, Vi Caldwell and Maxene McQuaid. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 10, 2005 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
