Dosia Nolan Laws Ball

Dosia Nolan Laws Ball, 89, formerly of 44 Seth Street, widow of Lester Ball, died Sunday November 06, 2005 at Summit Place. Born in Delrio, TN., she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Bell Lunsford Laws. Mrs. Ball was retired from Mills Mill and was a member of Edgewood Church of Christ. Surviving are four sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Wanda Ball of Piedmont, James and Linda Ball of Simpsonville, Donald and Venice Ball of Columbia, Jerry Ball of Marion, NC.; five grandchildren, Kenneth Ball, Susan Cain, Pam James, Don Ball, Jr., Crystal Seigler; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Procia Meyers of Simpsonville; and a brother, Troy Laws of Simpsonville. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Aleda Foster, and two sons, Kenneth and Fred Ball. Memorials may be made to Edgewood Church of Christ, 200 Edgewood Drive, Greenville, SC 29605. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 08, 2005 from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 09, 2005 at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West. The family will be at the home of a son, Jim Ball, 4 Tolland Court, Simpsonville, SC.
