I am so sorry to hear that Walt passed away. He was a special person to my heart and my business dealings with him. I consider it an honor to have known him and for the guidance and inspiration he always gave me in such simple terms that they have stuck with me since I met Walt over 30 years ago.  My deepest condolences to Christine and the entire Brashier Family.

Christine and family,

I was truly sorry to hear about Walt’s passing. He was always such a positive influence for me and all those around him. His energy was infectious and I recall how he would see the positive. He also enjoyed a good laugh and was a lot of fun to travel with. I am sure you will miss him and I am also sure he is in heaven and your special angel now. God bless and keep you all during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Christine and family. Joy and I will have nothing but fond memories of the professional and personal times spent with Walt. Always the consummate optimist. Loved the Lord and could preach a sermon like no one else. Rest in peace my friend.

WHVN radio in Charlotte aired Walt's "On Target" features during the  1970`s. I enjoyed listening to them each day. Monty Dupuy did the opening and closing billboards for him. It seems that it was only yesterday that I was hearing: "You`ve been On Target with Walt Brashier!"
My deepest sympathy goes out to the Brashier family.

Christine and Family -- our family was so sorry to hear of your loss.  Dad was heart-broken to lose such a wonderful friend and confidant; however, he knows Walt is rejoicing in heaven with family, friends and our God.  He was a man who demonstrated enormous caring, generosity, and sincere love to many throughout his life.  We are thinking of each of you in your time of loss, and will remember you in our daily thoughts and prayers -- Malcolm Floyd, Jean & Herb Sharpe, Chandler & Seth Jones

Christine and Family,
Thank you for sharing the blessing of Walt’s presence and wisdom with all of us. We particularly enjoyed introducing him to the new young folks entering real estate. He educated and inspired us all to do well and do good. His charm, wit, and good sense were always on display. We will all miss him greatly, as will a large number of people who never knew him.

Dr. Brashier was one of the most generous Christian men I have ever known.  It was a pleasure to get to know Dr. Brashier while I was working at Greenville Tech and he served on the Tech Board. His influence and generosity provided opportunity for so many upstate residents. The state has truly lost a giant of a man. Our deepest sympathy to the Brashier family.
Ann Brooks Clark left a message on March 27, 2021:
Walt Brashier was my pastor at Welcome Baptist Church in Laurens SC when I was just a little girl. My dad and mom Frank and Doris Brooks thought the world of him and Christine. Seems like only yesterday. Tommy was my pastor at Temple Baptist Church in Simpsonville SC. My prayers go out to all the family members. All I can say is by Gods grace, we know we will see Preacher Brashier again.

Dear Family and Friends, we are praying for you all as Walt's homegoing has brought sadness to our hearts. Walt touched so many lives. There are not enough words to express how much Walt is loved. Today, he is with Jesus, walking on Streets of Gold, and in a New, Perfect Body. I always enjoyed talking with Jerry and sharing laughter. Walt is a fine, exemplary Christian man, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. He always had such a warm smile and loved everyone. Walt was always concerned with other people, especiallyhis family and his church. There are not enough words to convey how much Walt meant to his church, his family and his friends. I am saying extra prayers for each family member. Walt always had a positive outlook on life. May God provide your each and every need including grace, peace, comfort, love and discernment. I cherish all of the memories of Walt. If there is someone, either a Friend or Family Member or someone else, who is not saved, may this be the time that this person will repent of their sins and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Remember the special times and memories shared with Walt. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Thank God we will reunite with him in Heaven.

Love and prayers,
