Earl Wendell Levenson

Earl Wendell Levenson, 80, of 73 Forest Lake Drive, husband of Annette Erene Levenson, died Thursday, July 3, 2008 at his residence. Born in Providence, RI, on January 20, 1928, he was the son of the late William L. and Gladys C. Bentley Levenson. Mr. Levenson was a United States Army veteran of WWII, the Japan Occupation and the Korean Conflict, having received the Purple Heart and numerous other medals. He was a retired letter carrier, a member of NALC Branch 1071 Miami, 1091 Orlando, life member of DAV and the American Legion. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Bruce K. Levenson of Truro, MA; a niece, Kathleen A. Levenson of Tucson, AZ; and a nephew, Bruce K. Levenson, II of Brooklyn, NY. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 1817 Gadsden Street, Columbia, SC 29201 or to the charity of one's choice. No services are planned at this time.
