Eddis Watson Anders

Eddis Watson Anders, 93, formerly of 46 West Avenue, Greenville, widow of Artellus ?Ted? Anders died Monday, October 3, 2005 at Westside Nursing Home. Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Issac and Marinda Melton Watson. Mrs. Anders was retired from Brandon Mills and was a member of Brandon Baptist Church. She was a member of Eastern Star Monaghan Chapter #82 and was a Past Worthy Matron. Surviving are two daughters: Betty Corn and her husband, Bobby and Lou Ellen Chapman, all of Greenville; four grandchildren: Tim Corn and his wife, Susan, Andy Corn, Gail Redmond and her husband, Sam, and Diane Bishop and her husband, Roger; nine great-grandchildren: Leah Lindsay, Mandi Bishop, Layne Owensby, Ginger Bishop, Lauren Corn, Alex Corn, Levi Corn, Sabrina Hunter and Maggie Redmond. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Neal and Elizabeth Anders, Joe Anders and Penny Anders, several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Rhunette Barnes. She was the last surviving member of the birth family. Memorials may be made to Brandon Baptist Church, 16 Calder St., Greenville, SC 29611 or to Alzheimer?s Association of Upstate, 521 N. McDuffie, Anderson, SC 29621. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 from 2:00 pm until 2:45 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with the service to follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.
