Edith Genoble Long, 69, of 103 Greenpond Road, wife of Joseph P. ?J.P.? Long, died Friday, September 07, 2007 Hillcrest Hospital. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Mendal Luther and Grace Collins Genoble. Mrs. Long was retired from K-Mart and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Deborah W. Pressley and her husband, Wayne, of Greenville, Beverley White of Fountain Inn; two stepdaughters, Phillis Long Davidson and her husband, Dr. Michael Davidson of Florence, Brenda Long Muckenfuss and her husband, Archie, of Lexington; a stepson, Stephen Carol Long of Travelers Rest; a brother, Arnold Genoble of Greenville; nine grandchildren, Andrea Pressley, Leagray White-Bryson, Sarah McCulley, Emily Pressley, Joseph Davidson, Caroline Pressley, Rebakah Muckenfuss, Joshua Davdison and Jacob Davidson. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of LaCombe, PO Box 487, LaCombe, LA. 70445. Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 9, 2007 ay 3:00p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence.
