Edna Virginia Duncan

Edna Virginia Duncan passed away at her home surrounded by her beloved family on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008. She was born on April 15th, 1928, the daughter of the late Ben & Alice Tillotson. She was retired from Fiber Industries and was a faithful member of Unity Baptist Church. She loved spending time at the beach and all sports, but her passion for Braves baseball was only surpassed by her love of family. She is predeceased by her husband of fifty-eight years, James L. Duncan and her two sons, Stewart and Michael Duncan. Mrs. Duncan leaves behind her children, Sandra Duncan and husband Randy Bryant, Deborah Beck and husband Allen, Stanley Duncan and wife Tina, Jay Duncan and wife Karen, daughter-in-law Sheila Duncan wife of Michael, as well as her handsome brothers Ben, Jewell, Jimmy, Fulton, and Richard Tillotson. She will be greatly missed by her sixteen grandchildren, Allen and Alexandria Beck, and Tracy Beck, Chandler, Stewart and James Green, Michelle Evett, Brandon and Dameon Smith, Stacy, Ruiz, Nicholas, Michael, Jeremy, Samantha and Christopher Duncan, Chelsea Barton, Chandler Bryant, and her thirteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, December 5, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral will be Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West. The family is at the residence.
