Edna Williams Wilson, 87, formerly of Marietta, died Sunday March 4, 2007, at Oakmont East Nursing Center. Born in Pickens, she was a daughter of the late George and Minnie Leslie Williams, and the widow of J. B. Wilson. Mrs. Wilson was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of Slater Baptist Church. She retired from J. P. Stevens Co. Surviving are a daughter and husband, Janice W. and Larry Skinner, of Greenville, and sons and wives, Harold and Louella Wilson, of Greenville, and Jim and Joan Wilson, of Fountain Inn; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with The Reverend Dr. Marshall Sargent officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:45 to 3:15 p.m. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park Masoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the activities department at Oakmont East Nursing Center, 600 Sulpher Springs Road, Greenville SC 29617. The family is at the home of daughter Janice Skinner, 106 Covington Road.
