Edward Preston Fisher, Jr., 92, husband of the late Martha Jo Fisher, died Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Edward and Martha Huffling Fisher.

Preston had been a Shriner since 1963 and was a 32nd Degree Mason. He enjoyed gardening and was a member of Laurel Baptist Church.

He is survived by four children, Ronnie Fisher (Debbie), Myron Fisher (Kim), Diane Masters (Mike), and Michelle LaStringer (Joe); eight grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife of 62 years, Preston was preceded in death by one grandchild, Reid Fisher, and all nine of his brothers and sisters.

A visitation will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast followed by a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. in Graceland East Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children at https://www.shrinerschildrens.org/en/locations/greenville.

I spent many Sunday mornings at the Fisher home after spending the night with Diane and waking up to Jo and MiMi cooking breakfast while Mr. Preston was in his chair listening to the gospel quartets on TV. He sure loved his family and will be greatly missed but never forgotten ❤️
