Dear Ray Cope family, Mary Dot and I have talked to the family numerous times lately during Ray’s sickness. He truly was one God’s angels. Always ready to help any one in need. We have shared so much in life starting with taking Ray to Winston Salem after he finished at Berea College where he and Jackie lived for years. His life was surely one of great passion and compassion. We will see again soon in Heaven Ray. Love you Ray and family, Mary Dot and Bill
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I had the great privilege of working for and with Ray for many years at the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust. Ray was very fair, kind, hard-working, and wanted the best for each of his employees. In that same vain, Ray worked tirelessly for the underserved population of North Carolina. Because of Ray’s leadership, I’m a better person. Thank you Hoo-Ray, now go rest high on that Mountain. Amen. Susie & Larry
