Elizabeth Marlow Williams

Elizabeth Marlow Murphy Williams, 94, widow of Roger T. Williams, died Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Alterra Sterling House of Greenville. Born in Flint, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Marlow Murphy. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia W. Kilburg and her husband Donald of Taylors; two sons, Roger Williams and his wife Elinore of Brookfield, WI., Micheal Williams of Morristown, N.J.; six grandchildren, Thomas Williams, Micheal Williams, Kathlene Williams, Elizabeth Kilburg Niersbach, Donald Kilburg, Kathyrn Kilburg Kirkpatrick; and fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, John S. Williams. Memorials may be made to Poor Clare Monastary, 204 Douthit Street, Greenville, SC 29601 or catholic charaties. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, August 3, 2006 at 12:00 noon at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home , Downtown. Burial will be held Saturday, August 5, 2006 in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. The family will be at their respective homes.
