Eloise Tucker

Eloise Tucker, 80, beloved wife of the late Frank Thomas Tucker, Sr., peacefully passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023.

Born in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late John Henry and Payroe (Steadman) Ware.

Eloise graduated from T. L. Hanna High School in Anderson, SC and married her husband, Frank, in 1961.

The couple welcomed two children, and Eloise worked tirelessly in her home providing for the care and comfort of her family. She enjoyed sewing clothing for her daughter and raising beautiful flowers in her backyard.

Frank and Eloise’s favorite things included traveling and camping as a family. They took their children to numerous places in the United States and instilled in them a sense of adventure. Some of their best memories were made while visiting Four Corners, Niagara Falls, Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Ole Opry, Colonial Williamsburg, as well as many Civil War battlefields.

Those left to cherish her memory include a son and daughter-in-law, Frank Thomas Tucker, Jr. and Mary Lindsay Tucker; a daughter and son-in-law, Tracy Ann Clark and Kenneth Clark; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren. She also leaves a nephew, Jason Herring.

In addition to her husband and parents, Eloise was predeceased by her twin sister, Sandra Louise Bridges and sister, Corabell Alexander.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Graceland East Memorial Park, Simpsonville.
