Emile Paul Broussard

Emile Paul Broussard, 71, of 278 Campground Road, Liberty, died Saturday, October 14, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital, Downtown. Born in Marrero, LA, he was the son of the late Marcel Broussard and Marie Hanks Broussard. Mr. Broussard served in the United States Air Force for twenty one years and retired as owner of Broussard Pest Control. Surviving are two daughters, Katherine Labbe, of Westminster; and Crystal Broussard, of Liberty; a son, Spencer Broussard, of Las Vegas, NV; his girlfriend, Claire Snow, of Houston, TX; two sisters, Elsina Chaisson, Theresa Burgo, a brother, Ulysse Pierre Broussard all of Jefferson Parrish, LA; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, James Paul Broussard. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, at 12:00 pm at Marathon Community Church, Easley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Center of the Carolinas, 65 International Drive, Greenville, SC 29615, or the Oschner Cancer Institute, 1514 Jefferson Highway, New Orleans, LA 70121.
