Estelle N. Ford

Estelle N. Ford, 86, 141 Duff Drive, died Friday, November 3, 2006 at her son?s residence. Born in Cleveland County, NC, she was a daughter of the late William Newton and Zula Cook Newton and she was the wife of the late Benjamin T. Ford. Mrs. Ford was a retired employee of J. P. Stevens for forty years she was a member of Slater Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Benny Ford and wife Susan of Travelers Rest; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters, Ima Yount of China Grove, NC; and Sadie Beam of Lincolnton, NC; and a very special friend, Arlee Coggins of Marietta. She is predeceased by a daughter, Clara Campbell, a sister, and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, on Sunday, at 3:00 p.m. with visitation from 1:30-3:00 p.m. prior. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 441-A Pettigru Street, Greenville, SC 29601. The family will be at the residence.
