Eugenia Cason Cooper

Eugenia Cason Cooper, 87, of 8335 Augusta Road, widow of Clarence Wilbour Cooper, died Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in Pelzer, she was the daughter of the late Wade E. and Mary McCord Cason. Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker and member of East Park Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Diane Cooper of Indianapolis, IN, John and Michele Cooper of Breese, IL; three daughters and a son-in-law, Luanne Cooper Whang of Henderson, NV, Rose and Tim Parker of Springfield, TN, Betsy Hurlebaus of Nashville, NC; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Cooper Cason and a brother, Wade E. Cason, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Park Baptist Church, 12 Ebaugh Avenue, Greenville, SC 29607 or the Greenville County Humane Society, 328 Furman Hall Road, Greenville, SC 29609. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 12:00 noon in the downtown chapel. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
