Eva Cooper Dixon

February 1, 1914 - July 8, 2006
Mrs. Eva Cooper Dixon, 92, of Magnolia Place, formerly of Randolph St., Greenville died Saturday, July 8, 2006 at St. Francis Women?s and Family Hospital. Born in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Obie and Elemer Moore Cooper and widow of Joe T. Dixon. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Dixon, was a seamstress with Quality Fabrics. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge, South Greenville Chapter #1552 for 30 years. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are one daughter, Joan Cox of Simpsonville; two sons, Bill Cooper and wife Beth of Greenville and James ?Dub? Dixon and wife Eve of Piedmont; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Graveside funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:30 pm at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
