Florene Reddell Nelson

Florene R. Nelson, 90, formerly of Haywood Estates, widow of Earl E. Nelson, died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at National Health Care, Mauldin. Born in Dallas, TX., she was the daughter of the late Gilliam and Forrest Cox Reddell.. Mrs. Nelson was a retired secretary from the Chamber of Commerce in Sun City Center, FL and was personal secretary to Luther Campbell of Campbell Soup Company. She was also a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Surviving are daughters, Judy Smith and her spouse Bob of Pennsylvania, Marcia McNamee and her spouse Tom of Greenville, Patty Jimenez of Florida; sons, Dale Nelson and Pat Nelson and his spouse Beth who reside in Pennsylvania; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Iva G. Termin of Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church Building Fund, 2252 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680. Recitation of the Rosary will be held Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 7:00 PM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be conducted Friday, January 27, 2006 at 12:00 noon at the church. The family will be at 6 Moore Lane, Greenville, SC 29615.
