Floyd Donald Garrett

June 8, 1935 - January 24, 2006
Floyd Donald Garrett, 70, of 219 Corn Road, husband of Mary Corn Garrett, died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in Ware Shoals, he was the son of the late Floyd Hampton and Inez Tumblin Garrett. Mr. Garrett was the retired owner of Mauldin Loan Office and was a member of Mauldin United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Mauldin Masonic Lodge. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Karren Long of Laurens, Cynthia Lee Farmer of Easley; two sons, Jeffery Neal Garrett of Greenville, Donald Gregory Garrett of Piedmont; a sister, Elizabeth Pack of Piedmont; three brothers, James Michael Garrett of Greenville, Ricky Allen Garrett and Dicky Edgar Garrett both of Piedmont; and five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cemetery Fund of Mauldin United Methodist Church, 100 E. Butler Road, Mauldin, SC 29662 or to the charity of one?s choice. Funeral services will be conducted, Friday, January 27, 2006 at 3:00 PM at Mauldin United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 1:30 until 2:45 PM at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be at the residence. Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
