Floyd Hardin, 90, husband of Edith “Edie” Hardin, of Mauldin, died Friday, October 12, 2018.
Born in Cleveland County, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Joe and Naomi Hardin.
Floyd was a member of First Baptist Church, Mauldin, SC.
He served proudly in the US Military during World War II and the Korean War.
Floyd enjoyed toe-tapping music, candy, FDR, hymns and presidential history. He was equal parts sarcasm and thoughtfulness. He was so funny and full of grace that you knew it was God breathed.
In addition to his loving wife of 58 years, he is survived by daughters, Julie Hardin and Myra Vergani; granddaughters, Jennifer Rouse, Stacey and Meredith Waits; sister, Edith Stroupe and sister in law, Kathy Heafner.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast, with a Memorial Service following in the chapel at 1:30 p. m.
