Frances Grace Tipton, 61, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023.
Born on May 17, 1962, at Greenville Memorial Hospital, she was the daughter of Mary H. Tipton and of the late Bobby Tipton.
Fran graduated from Parker High School, class of 1980, and then attended Greenville Technical College. Throughout her life, she cultivated a deep passion for flowers, which led her to pursue a career in the floral industry. She worked as a floral delivery person at Expressions Unlimited, where she dedicated her time and talents to bringing joy to others through the beauty of flowers. Fran’s commitment and hard work made her an invaluable member of the Expressions Unlimited family. Fran was cherished by her dear friends Staci, Debbie, and Billy.
Outside of her professional life, Fran found solace and spiritual guidance through her faith, and she was an active member of Monaghan Baptist Church. Her involvement in the church community brought her great fulfillment and allowed her to share her gifts with others. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith and her dedication to serving others.
The Plumley family loved and cared deeply for Fran and were like a second family to her. Her warm smile, kind heart, and generous nature endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She leaves behind a lasting legacy of kindness and compassion that will continue to brighten the lives of those she touched.
In addition to her loving mother, she is survived by special friend, Mary Lou Plumley; aunts and uncles, Barry and Kathy Norris, Nancy McCroskey, Ronald Howell of Surfside, and Keith and Linda Tipton, of Bryson City, NC; and many beloved cousins.
A visitation will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be held in Mountain View Memorial Park.
