Frances Holcombe Fesperman

Frances McClure Holcombe Fesperman, 79, died Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Woodruff Manor Nursing Home from a long battle with Alzheimer?s. A Greenville native, Mrs. Fesperman was the widow of Dennis C. Fesperman and the daughter of the late Raymond and Beulah Bagwell McClure. She is predeceased by her first husband and father of her children, William E. Holcombe, Sr., and her son, William E. Holcombe, Jr. She was retired from Judson Mill and a member of Overbrook Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Oakes of Jennings, LA, and Kimberlee Gutierrez and her husband Eric of Bellflower, CA; a son, Roy Holcombe and his wife Patty, of Warner Robins, GA; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Holcombe of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by eight beloved grandchildren, Gene Holcombe of Ladson, SC, Jody Holcombe of Ravenel, SC, Paul Holcombe of Winder, GA, Tim Holcombe of Centerville, GA, Aaron Holcombe of Charleston, SC, Kimberly Holcombe of Charleston, SC, Katie Gutierrez of Bellflower, CA, and Matt Gutierrez of Bellflower, CA; and six great-grandchildren, Kristie Holcombe, Eli Holcombe, Asa Holcombe, Seth Holcombe, Benjamin Holcombe, and Alexander Holcombe. She is also survived by sisters, Ruby Hawkins of Greenville and Betty Garrett of Simpsonville, and her dearest friend, Peggy Holsenback of Easley. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Lutheran Hospice nurses and social workers; and the wonderful nurses and social workers at Woodruff Manor. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 18, 2006 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Graceland East Memorial Park with visitation prior to the service from 11:15 until 12:00 noon in the chapel.
