Frances Ruth Stevens White

June 28, 1938 - July 7, 2004
Mrs. Frances Ruth Stevens White, 66, wife of Dr. A. Duane White, 1669 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, FL, died Wednesday July 7, 2004 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Rev. William Floyd and Elsie Mae Rivaud Stevens. Mrs. White was a member of The Kirk of Dunedin, Dunedin, FL. She was a well-known and beloved soprano soloist throughout the southeast, and was a life-long music teacher. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Alice M. Barnett, Greenville, SC; two sons, Steven Collins White, Chicago, IL and David Rivaud White, Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Rev. William D. Stevens, Pompano Beach, FL and Robert L. Stevens, St. Petersburg, FL; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday July 9, 2004 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM in the fellowship hall of Second Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will be held at the church on Saturday July 10, 2004 at 1:30 PM. Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
