Francisco “Frank” Fazio, 72, husband of Michelle Fazio, passed away on Monday March 4, 2024.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Michael and Doris Lindsey Fazio.
Frank Fazio worked as an auto body technician, devoting his life to the trade. He began his career by working under his father, Michael H. Fazio Sr., and with time, ran his very own business. Frank loved auto body work, and his passion for it inspired others to take an interest in the trade. His peers nicknamed him “T. Rex” due to being one of the oldest auto body technicians working in Greenville, SC.
Frank was more than just his work, though. He had a deep love for cars, motorcycles, and spending time with friends and family. His contagious laugh, undeniable charisma, and unending drive made him unforgettable. Although he is no longer with us, Frank’s memory lives on through the qualities that made him so special and the impact he had on those around him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Chance Fazio and Franco Fazio; daughters, Carmella Fazio and Kristy Durham (Tad Finley); sisters, Fran Fazio, Jacque Redding (Allen), Theresa Wynn (Stewart), and Rita Fazio (Jack Sasser); brothers Mike Fazio (Tammy), Joe Fazio (Faye), and Mark Fazio; eight grandchildren, Katelyn, Bella, Emma, Anna, Landon, Ella, Brayden, and Abbie; and great-grandchildren, Owen, Nash, and Emberlynn; and brothers-in-law, Dale Harvey and Larry Gillespie.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mikel Woods; and sisters, Carmella Harvey and Gina Gillespie.
