Frank David Tollison

David "Pa" Tollison, 60, of 18 S. Tyger Drive, husband of Becky Parnell Tollison, died Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Born in Abbeville, he was a son of the late Frank J. and Grace Koon Tollison. Mr. Tollison was raised by his grandparents, the late Alvah and Elula Tollison and an aunt, the late Mattie McClain. Mr. Tollison was employed as a truck driver with VF Jeans Wear and was a veteran of the United Sates Air Force. He was an avid NASCAR fan. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Rebecca Parnell of Greer; a son, Todd Tollison of Greer; two grandchildren, Nathan and Brady; and a special cousin, Diane Reynolds. He was preceded in death by a son, Buddy Ray Parnell and a brother, Tommy Tollison. Memorials may be made to the Greenville County Cancer Society, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 13, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Sunday, September 14, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the downtown chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West. The family will be at the residence.
