Frank Floyd Howard

Frank Floyd Howard, 85, born August 8, 1922, second child of the late Eunice Kay and B.H. Howard, died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at McCall Hospice House after a brief illness. He was a WWII Veteran, having served his country in the US Army in the Pacific. He served in the Infantry and Tank Division. Mr. Howard was owner and operator of Howard's Auto Body and Paint. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are one son, Robert Leslie Howard of Simpsonville; two sisters, Sarah H. Duncan-Alexander of Easley and Mary H. Lockaby-Edwards of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, B.H. Howard, and two sisters, Dorothy H. Frady and Betty H. Creasy. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am in Laurel Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 W. Georgia Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29680 or to the Cemetery Fund of Laurel Baptist Church, 2331 Laurens Rd., Greenville, SC 29607.
