Franklin Alvoid Glazener

Franklin Alvoid Glazener, 83, of 500 Stokes Road, Simpsonville, died Sunday, September 5, 2004 at Hillcrest Hospital after a period of declining health. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Louie Sylvester Glazener and Jessie Wooten Glazener. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years, Edna Jeanette Glazener. Surviving are four daughters and three sons-in-law, Nancy and Don Adams of Mauldin; Sharon and Vernon Cooper of Piedmont; Joan and Harold Black of Simpsonville; and Joette Trull of Greenville; four grandchildren, Lynette Mullikin, Stephen Adams and Kimberly Black, all of Simpsonville; and Donna Durham of Greenville; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth ?Billie? Smith of Easley and Dorothy Reeves of Greenville. He was predeceased by a sister, Frances Chapman, and a son-in-law, Wendell Trull. He was a member of Fair Heights Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fair Heights Baptist Church with burial to follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family is at the residence.
