Garnet "Ken" Kenneth Dover was called into the presence of his Lord and Savior on April 5, 2020.
Born April 16, 1938 in Cornelia, GA to Garnet and Gladys Dover, he served in the U.S. Army as a specialist in the Chemical Corp. of the 81st Infantry. He became the owner of American Iwer Corp. and served the Greenville, SC and International textile community for over 50 years. He was a resident of Piedmont, SC where he lived with his beloved wife of 55 years and where he raised his family. He was a regular attender of Grace Baptist Church in Pelzer, SC. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his darling wife, of over 60 years, Sara; son, Teddy; his daughter, Dianna and her husband, Rev. Joseph Willis; three precious grandchildren, Rev. Kenneth and Gabrielle Willis, William Willis and Phillip and Olivia Willis; sister, Maxine Harward; and two furry children, Remy and Ruger.
A private graveside service will be held at Graceland West Cemetery. He left a legacy of love, Christian faith and will forever have the adoration of his family.
