George Christian “Chris” Frank III, born on May 25, 1967, tragically passed away in an accident on May 5, 2024, in Simpsonville, SC. He was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and respected Vice President of Global Operations with B W Flexible Systems.
A native of Cleveland, OH, Chris diligently pursued his education earning a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University where he served as president of Theta XI Fraternity and then a Master’s degree from John Carroll University. His commitment to education was matched only by his devotion to family. He leaves behind his loving wife, Donna Frank; two sons, Christian and Patrick; and his daughter, Lucina.
An active member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Chris was an avid Cleveland sports fan cheering for the Browns, the Cavaliers, and the Guardians. He also was passionate spectator of European Futbol and American Football. However, his greatest joy was watching his children excel in their passions whether dance, choir, swimming, soccer, or orchestra.
Chris’s passing has also deeply affected his father, George Frank, Jr. and step-mother, Grace Frank; his siblings, Rick, Meg, and Trish; as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Margrethe Frank.
A Vigil Service will be held at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church on May 10th at 10:00 a.m. to honor Chris’s life and legacy. Following the Mass, he will be laid to rest at Graceland East Memorial Park.
