Although we may have not been blood related, and I didn't spend my whole life knowing you, you were family as sure as any blood relative I have. I'm going to miss you, my friend, but I know I'll see you 'round. So I'll hang on to that until we meet again.

Coach Knight "was" Greenville High JV Football! My clearest memories of GHS is playing for Jerry, riding in the "cat", Wednesday night "all you can eat" spaghetti at Vince's and practicing in the cage. Jerry made a difference. He will be missed.

Many Friday afternoons were spent chatting it up with Jerry about everything from IFMA to his days as a basketball coach. He will be dearly missed and although our connection was IFMA, I am glad we were able to call each other friend.
