Gertrude Geneva Harbin, 82, of 107 Woodland Drive, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late George Washington Chapell and Laura Ann Durham Chapell. Mrs. Harbin retired from Stone Manufacturing and was a member of New Hope Bible Holiness Church. Surviving are her husband, Lewis Harbin, of the home; a daughter, Kathy Cox, of Greenville; two sons, Edward Cothran of Travelers Rest, and Lee Cothran of Greenville; a brother, Henry Ford, of Greenville; two sisters, Maybelle Meece of Liberty, and Leola Pearson of Greenville; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. Visitation will be held Friday, December 28, 2007 from 6:30 ? 8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland East Memorial Park. The family is at the residence.
