Gordon Ray McLucas, 68, husband of Joanna McLucas, died Friday, November 19, 2021.
Born in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Ralph and Betty Grams McLucas. He retired from MetLife where he was a computer programmer and project manager. Prior, he was the production manager at CFC/Perfection Forms in Greenville. Graduate of South Hagerstown High School Class of 1971. He worked at Arnold Graphics before moving to South Carolina. Gordon, a Marine veteran, enjoyed an active life doing mechanic work, golfing, fishing, and was a member of the American Legion Riders.
He is survived by his wife, Joanna McLucas; one son, Brian McLucas and wife Myrna; granddaughter: Zuly McLucas; grandson, Bryan McLucas; two brothers, Bill McLucas and wife, Beth and Ryan McLucas and wife, Tracy; two sisters, Debbie Bennett and husband Jack and Deneen McLucas and Dave.
In addition to his Parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sue McLucas, and his daughter, Missy McLucas.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast. And additional visitation will be held in Hagerstown, MD on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, followed by the Graveside Service at 12:00 PM in Rose Hill Cemetery.
