Harbin Hanson Talley

Harbin Hanson Talley, 82, of Greenville, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at home. Born in Calhoun, GA, he was a son of the late Jonah and Beatrice White Talley. Mr. Talley retired from Belk after forty-three years of service. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for fifty-five years where he served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and usher. Surviving are his wife of fifty-seven years, Valeria Brown Talley, of the home; two sisters, Lonnie Serritt of Calhoun, GA and Christine Ellison of Easley; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dale Dobbs and Lonie Talley; and two brothers, Vance and Spencer Talley. Visitation will be held Friday, December 28, 2007 from 6:00 ? 8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West.
