Harold Benjamin Holden, Sr

June 12, 1932 - August 4, 2008
Harold Benjamin Holden, Sr., 76, of Powdersville, died Monday, August 4, 2008.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Carlie J. and Emma Mae Adcox Holden.
Mr. Holden was a retired maintenance supervisor, a HAM radio operator and of the Baptist faith. He also served his country in the US Air Force. Surviving is his wife of forty years, Mary Wickliffe Holden, a daughter, Tracie Blanton and her husband, Nick; a son, Harold Benjamin Holden, Jr. and his wife Deborah; granddaughters, Ashley Blanton, Kimberly Holden, Kelsey Holden; and a great grandson, Gage Holden Thomas.
He was predeceased by a sister and seven brothers. Mr. Holden was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 6, 2008 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
The funeral service will be Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at the residence.
