Harold Clinton Baker

September 24, 1943 - July 31, 2008
Harold Clinton Baker, 64, of 100 Forestville Road, died Friday, July 31, 2008. Born in Travelers Rest, he was the son of the late Curtis Eugene and Dolca Estelle Poole Baker. He worked as a master machinest with Sealed Air/Cryovac Corporation. Mr. Baker was a faithful member of Forestville Baptist Church, serving as deacon, teacher of the 60's Up Couples Sunday School Class and a member of the choir. He also was the former commissioner of the North Greenville Fire District and a veteran of the US Army. Surviving is his wife, Ruby Nell Manley Baker, a daughter, Wendy Baker Duncan and her husband, Dwayne; a son, Harold Steven Baker and his wife, Rhonda Jones Baker; grandchildren, Caroline Grace Jones, Andrew Duncan, Josh C. Winkles, Brandon Duncan, Jonathan T. Winkles, Jacob Masters, Lindsay Winkles, Clinton Wyatt Baker; great grandson, Samuel Grayson Jones; and sister, Peggy Willard and her husband, Russ. Mr. Baker was predeceased by a sister, Sarah Baker; and brother, Edward Baker. The funeral service will be Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 10:30 am at Forestville Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday, August 1, 2008 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Burial will be in Forestville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be at the residence.
