Bud Thomas left a message on April 29, 2022:
Rest In Peace Harold. A true gentleman and a leader for Christ. Harold did some mounts for me and I’ll cherish my memories in his little museum of a workshop! He gave my little daughter a bear claw too. They don’t come finer than Harold. Blessings and comfort to his family.
Tommy Dowling left a message on April 28, 2022:
Unable to attend Harold’s graveside service due to Covid, I wanted to let Harold’s family know that I considered Harold a dear friend. Our association started back in the mid- 70s when I met Harold through Gene Sheek. I managed property in Allendale county and was happy to have Harold come down to hunt. We became fast friends and remained so even after I stopped managing the property after it’s sale. Harold will be missed but we will see one another again. Each time I see the beautiful turkey mount on my wall, I think of Harold. Blessings to you all

Harold had a great sense of humor, was kind, and generous! He will be greatly missed but his taxidermy skills live on with the deer my husband shot in Canada and our daughter affectionately named "Jimmy the deer". Lots of love to the entire Holcombe family, and may you find comfort and peace in dealing with your loss in the days ahead.
