Harold Eugene Crumley

Harold Eugene Crumley, 72, of 218 McSwain Drive, husband of Myra Davis Crumley, died Wednesday, March 01, 2006 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Madison M. and Marjorie Thompson Crumley. Mr. Crumley was retired from Roadway Express and was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict as a Military Police Officer. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Dana Crumley of Taylors; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy C. and Clyde McKinney of Asheville, NC., Doris C. and Don Waters of Taylors; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rayford and Evelyn Crumley of Taylors, William Franklin and Diane Crumley of Mayo; two grandsons, Kevin and Jason Crumley; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Eugene Crumley. Memorials may be made to Mountain Creek Baptist Church, 255 W. Mountain Creek Road, Greenville, SC 29609 or Hospice Care of South Carolina, 600 E. Washington Street, Suite 150, Greenville, SC 29601. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 04, 2006 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 05, 2006 at Mountain Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes.
