Harriet Marie Love, 100, of Greenville,South Carolina, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 18, 2021 at NHC Healthcare.
She was born on August 6, 1920 to Reinhold and Freida Schultz of Detroit, Michigan, and was pre-deceased by her husband, Robert Love, originally of Huntington, WV. She was a missionary wife in Jamaica for 18 years, and following that, supported her husband in his pastoral ministry at the First Baptist Church of Chesapeake, Ohio for 26 years. Her love of music was eclipsed only by her love for her Lord and family, and her piano teaching and playing blessed countless people of all ages throughout her lifetime. She continued her musical ministry at Hampton Park Baptist Church and a teaching piano studio until the age of 90.
She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Thomas of Centreville, VA, and Joan Parker of Belton, SC, along with granddaughters Bridgette Thomas, Natalie Parker Mowbray and Tessa Parker Pinner.
She is rejoicing in Heaven with granddaughter, Emily Parker Sims, who preceded her
there in March, 2020.
She was interred at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, WV beside her beloved husband.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown Chapel.
