Helen Nicholson Jones

Helen Nicholson Jones, 74, of 105 North Yorktowne Drive, died Sunday, May 11, 2008. Born in Sylva, NC, she was the daughter of the late Dexter and Kumey Daves Nicholson. Mrs. Jones was retired from Michelin and a member of New Life Baptist Church.
Surviving is her daughter and her husband, Leisha and Wesley Shealy, four sons and their wives, Larry Jones, Terry Jones, Bobby and Gwen Jones, David and Cindy Jones; three stepsons, Elbert Jones, Lewis Jones, Daniel Jones; sister, Hazel Paris; two brothers, Leroy Nicholson, Carl Nicholson, twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of forty years, Furman L. Jones; and sister, Beulah Mae Parr. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 14, 2008, from 5:30 – 6:45 pm prior to the service at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Atten: Memorial Gifts, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060. The family will be at the residence.
