Herbert Eugene Prince

Herbert E. Prince, 78, of 44 Duke Street, died August 11, 2007. A Greenville native, Mr. Prince was the son of the late William and Inez Osteen Prince. He was retired from Bell South where he was employed for 35 years. Mr. Prince is survived by a daughter, Janet Prince of Gray Court; two sons, Barry Prince and his wife, Paige of Greenville, and Craig Prince of Gray Court; two grandchildren, Kristi Emtiaz and Logan Prince, both of Greenville; three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Brayden, and Peyton; and a sister, Katheryn Stroud of Piedmont. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Prince, and a brother, Richard Prince. Visitation will be held from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 13, 2007, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
