Horace Lavarn Crosby, Jr., 75, husband of Kathi Crosby, passed Saturday, July 3, 2021.

Born in Hampton, SC, he was the son of the late Horace and Dorothy Frier Crosby, Sr.

Horace was a member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church. He is a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a past volunteer fireman for Canebrake Fire Department. He enjoyed his little dog, LeahBeth, and deer hunting.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Horace Crosby, III and wife, Michelle; step-son, David McClure, Jr.; grandson, Brock Crosby and wife, Felicia ; three granddaughters, Megan Crosby-Chappell, and husband, Larry, Ashton Crosby, McKenzie Harbin; three great granddaughters, Natalie Crosby, Camie Sue Crosby, Katie Crosby; great grandson, Gage Crosby; two sisters, Louise McCants and Phyllis Moss; two brothers, Fred Crosby and wife, Ann, and Charles Crosby, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his son, Perry Ray Crosby.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 07, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Ware Place Church of God. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
