Howard Barton Johnson

Howard Barton Johnson, 64, of 109 Flagstar Court, died Sunday, August 26, 2007. Born in Simpsonville, Mr. Johnson was the husband of Dolores Green Johnson and the son of the late William and Nancy Barton Johnson. He was retired from Span Contract Packaging and a member of Temple Baptist Church, Simpsonville. In addition to his wife of 45 years, Mr. Johnson is survived by a daughter, Tracy Johnson of Fountain Inn; a son, Ken Johnson and his wife, Priscilla of Gastonia, NC; two grandchildren, Austin and Cheyenne Johnson of Gastonia; two sisters, Carolyn Peden of Simpsonville and Geraldine Abercrombie of Fountain Inn; mother-in-law, Estelle Green of Simpsonville; a brother-in-law, Wayne Green and his wife Wanda of Columbus, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with visitation from 11:00 until 11:45 prior to the service. Entombment will be at Cannon Memorial Park Mausoleum.
