Irene Spiller, 73, wife of Stephen Spiller, died Thursday, October 6, 2022.

Born in Birmingham, England, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucie Westall Turner. Her loves were her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, traveling, reading, and murder mystery books.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, David Spiller and wife, Lisa, Debbie Ford and husband, Travis, and Darren Spiller and fiancée, Julie Fox; four grandchildren, Vikki Spiller, Matthew Ford, Samuel Ford, and Noah Israel; two great-granddaughters; one brother, Leonard Turner; and two sisters, Joyce Collins and Linda Rose.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Turner.

The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast followed by a time of visitation.

Steve, please accept Ann and my deepest condolences to you and your family. So very sad for your loss, but we have vivid memories of what a beautiful and really fun person Irene was to us. At the appropriate time in the future, hopefully we can a do a catchup. I have always appreciated you keeping in contact and sharing what you and Irene were doing and your traveling escapades. Don and I are so sorry for your loss. Irene was always so sweet to me. I have fond memories of hanging out at the house eating Klondike bars and taking a trip to the beach with Debbie, Steve and Irene. She will be missed.
