Iris Estelle Baxley

Iris Estelle Baxley, 89, widow of Horace Fred Baxley, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Briarwood Living Center. Born in Horry County S.C., she was the daughter of the late Walter Ceicero and Leila Jane Jennerette Pittman. Mrs. Baxley was a homemaker and a member of Southside Fellowship. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Lila ?Kay and William Poole of Greenville; four granddaughters, Kimberly Shepherd, and her husband, Philip of Greenville, Kristi Loomis , and her husband, Bruce of Piedmont, Kelli Lindberg, and her husband, Eric of Laurens, Karmen Poole of Greenville; four great granddaughters; two great grandsons; and six brothers. She was preceded in death by three children. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer?s Association, Upstate SC Chapter, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5000, Greenville, SC 29601. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 09, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with visitation prior from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
