Isabel Camp Drake Crutchfield, 92, of 101 McDaniel Greene, formerly of National Healthcare, died August 6, 2005 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born August 28, 1912 in Clover, SC she was the daughter of the late Thomas Baxter and Alice Jarrett Camp and the widow of Alan D. Crutchfield. She attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine and retired as Divisional Merchandise Manager for Thalhimer?s Dept. Stores. Mrs. Crutchfield was a member of Greenville Women?s Club and a member of Christ Church Episcopal. She is survived by a daughter, Alice Drake Cantey of Greenville; one son, Dr. Thomas Mitchell Drake of Hilton Head, SC; a sister, Llewellyn Camp McDow of Greenville; 10 grandchildren, Jeffrey Mitchell Roberts and wife Amanda, Gary Maxwell Roberts, Robin Roberts Thomason and husband Rocky, Joseph Arden Harris, Alice Harris Alliota, Julie Harris, Laura Drake Cunningham, Patricia Drake Clark, Margaret Drake Clark and Timothy Maxwell Drake; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Nathan Maxwell Drake and a daughter, Patricia Drake DiMiere. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm Monday, August 8, 2005 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at Christ Church Episcopal. Interment to follow in the churchyard. Pallbearers will be Timothy Drake, Jeffrey Roberts, Gary Roberts, Rocky Thomason, Skip Odom, Tommy McDow, Bo Thomason, and Drake Thomason. Memorials may be made to Christ Church Episcopal, 10 N. Church St., Greenville 29601, Shepherd?s Gate 11 Regency Hill Dr, Greenville 29607, Meals on Wheels 15 Oregon St., Greenville 29605, or to the charity of one?s choice. The family is at the home of daughter, Alice Drake Cantey, 101 McDaniel Greene.
