Isabel Foy Jenkinson, 94, wife of the late Charles Jenkinson Sr., died Sunday, March 6, 2022.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Vennie Stone Foy.

Mrs. Jenkinson was a dedicated member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Isabel dedicated her career to the news, serving as a Production Director and Secretary for the Greenville News-Piedmont.

She is survived by son Charles L. Jenkinson; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Victor Jenkinson; and brother, James Foy.

The Graveside Service will be Friday, March 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

My thoughts & prayers are with the family of this beautiful lady. I've known little Ibby ever since 1985 when I first started working at the Greenville News. We immediately became good friends. Then, when my mom & I began attending St. Paul UMC downtown, I was elated to know Ibby was a long time member there! She always had a smile on her face & she never had anything negative to say about anyone for she truly loved everyone, & God knows, I truly loved her with all of my heart ❤️ Heaven just gained a precious angel ?
