Jacqueline Morse Parks

Jacqueline Morse Parks, 80, of 113 Covington Road, died on Tuesday, December 27, 2005. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late George S. and Edna Cole Morse. Mrs. Parks was an active member of Sans Souci Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of sixty-one years, Fred J. Parks, Jr., of the home; two daughters, Cindy Norris and husband David of Travelers Rest, and Melissa Fox and husband James of Travelers Rest; a son, Harold M. Parks and wife Wanda, of West Jefferson, NC; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by a brother, Harold Morse. Services will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Sans Souci Baptist Church. A private burial will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis Hospice, 414 Pettigru Street, Greenville, SC 29601 or Cancer Society of Greenville County, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605. Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest is in charge of arrangements.
