James Clyde Hester

James Clyde Hester, 81, of 324 Bailey Street, died Saturday, October 15, 2005. Born in Pickens County, he was the husband of June Audrey Hendrix Hester and the son of the late Walter and Bessie Nix Hester. Mr. Hester was a WWII veteran that served in the US Army and he retired from Woodside Mills. He was a member of West Greenville Baptist Church and a member of the Brandon Masonic Lodge. Surviving in addition to his loving wife, are two daughters, Barbara Suttle and her husband, Steve, of Easley, and Norma June Hudson, and her husband, Ray, of Greer; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, 1:30 p.m. at West Greenville Baptist Church with burial in Graceland West Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:15 p.m. ? 1:15 p.m. at the church, prior to the funeral service. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Oscie Owens Sunday School Class of West Greenville Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to West Greenville Baptist Church Sound System, 551 Perry Avenue, Greenville, SC 29611. The family will be at the residence.
